The Conference Dinner is a vital part of any LICAGE meeting with opportunities to meet new colleagues and refresh Auld Acquaintances. This year we are pleased to hold the Conference Dinner at the Edinburgh Glasshouse Hotel, a renovated 18th century church with outstanding views across the city, set in the shadow of Calton Hill.
We very much hope you will choose to attend, and accompanying partners are most welcome. As an added incentive we believe this to be such a useful part of the meeting, LICAGE will be providing a subsidy towards the event
The Glasshouse is situated a 10 - 15 minute walk from the Conference Venue close to some suggested accommodation and in the heart of Edinburgh
Address: 2 Greenside Place, Edinburgh EH1 3AA
The building on this site was known as the Hillside Chapel, built in 1846. It replaced the original evangelical church founded by Lady Glenorchy as a free church for the less wealthy of Edinburgh in the 1770s. That building was at the site of the Edinburgh Waverley railway station and was demolished in 1844 to make way for the station.
The Glasshouse Hotel opened in 2003.
